We’re truly in awe of your strength and courage in considering open adoption. It takes a special person to make such a decision and offer the gift of parenthood to others.

We have a loving, committed, and supportive relationship of more than six years. From the beginning, we have known that we both want to be parents. We’ve arrived at a place in our lives where we can provide a loving, stable home for a child. Doing so will give us the opportunity to share the love, joy, and enthusiasm for life that we have in our hearts and in our lives together. We presently share our home with two wonderful dogs – Fred, a basset hound, and Spot, a border collie mix. They are happy, mellow dogs and they love kids.

Brian was born in Washington, DC, and grew up with his mother in Austin, Texas, where he lived for most of his life. He works for LeapFrog as a computer programmer developing interactive educational toys for kids. He’s very excited about taking time off from his career to be the stay-at-home dad.

Matt was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and grew up in Denver, Colorado. He works as a full-time real estate agent. His flexible schedule will allow Matt to spend time at home and be fully involved in our child’s life.

We will be an active, two-parent family. No one wants to miss their child’s first tooth, first steps, first words, or first day at school. And every parent can use help when their child is sad, upset or ill.

We chose open adoption because honesty and being open with others are incredibly important to us. We want our child to know, love, and respect you, the birthparents, as special people who love him or her very much. We would love to talk with you and answer any questions you may have about us.
