We are matched (again). The kiddo is due in early May. I’m not going to post any details about the birthmom or the situation.
So, keep us (and the birthmom) in your thoughts. Lets hope this goes better than it did last time.
Also – no real details to share about the kiddo at the moment. We don’t know the gender, and even if we did, we might not tell you 
First – for all my fans at the adoption agency, I’m kind of saddened you never post comments. It seems like such a lost opportunity for us to bond. But whatever.
Second – Go check this website out and support them. It seems pretty cool to me.
Third – I’ve been working on a post in defense of monogamy, after reading a bunch of drivel out of this blog. But in all honesty, who the f*ck cares what consenting adults do behind closed doors.
Fourth – My church is having a special service this Sunday in recognition of all the church members who have been married recently in same-sex marriages. If you’re in the neighborhood and don’t have anything to do this Sunday morning, swing on by – the fun starts at 9:30am.

Our friend Patrick took some new shots of us this weekend for use in updating our birthmom letter. He’s managed to get them posted online before us (damn those mac users), so check them out.
He’s also, apparently, talented. Check out this movie he made about the day we got married in SF. (it’s in quicktime format, and kind of big, about 20MB, so if you are on a dialup connection it will probably take a while to download).
Our adoption agency discovered my blog sometime last month. While I’m not quite sure how they came across it, I have a pretty solid hunch of who tipped them off.
It’s amazing how willing people are to take your words out of context and use them against you. It really is. But, having read Dooce, I really shouldn’t be surprised.
The adoption agency was not happy with me, to say the least. So that’s what I’ve been up to lately.
