My friend Pete posted a letter his mom wrote a few years back to a government official (representative, congressperson, it’s late and I can’t remember) about gay adoption. Nice letter, and Pete, I’m pretty sure you owe her at least one grandchild for writing it.

A guy in New Hampshire has applied for a permit to abolish supreme court justice David Souder’s current house and build a hotel on it, in response to his vote in support of allowing the government to exercise eminent domain on behalf of a private investor. You can read the press release.
