It makes me laugh pretty hard, and I wonder how immigrants will respond. Maybe the lunatics in the GOP will pick it up and try to scare people from coming to America with the same strategy.
Thanks to windreader for pointing out that my last post about brokeback high school is a hoax. It turns out the student was never expelled. Here’s an article about it.
It’s a testimony to how connected the world has come that this story could go from nowhere to everywhere in such a short amount of time. His school received over 10,000 emails in response to the articles.
On the one hand, I feel kinda bad for Brandon. I don’t think he had any idea this would become as big as it has. On the other hand, I’m left pondering the parable of the story of the boy who cried wolf.
I don’t think he deserves to be expelled for what he did, but spreading lies for no reason is a pretty lame thing to do.
